Livestreams and NFTs are taking over the digital realm. Bandsintown<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is here for all emerging artists, and therefore are the first to combine two virtual features. Let’s break down what this expansion means for indie artists and what special perks will arrive from this.<\/p>\n

What Is Big Break?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Big Break is Bandsintown’s emerging artist program<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. The program identifies artists who grew rapidly between 100 and 5,000 Trackers within a 6 month period. Out of those qualifying artists, 20 will be picked and have the ability to gain maximum exposure across the network for a year. This program is here to help artists during a time they may need it most. By financially supporting them as they rise, artists can focus on their music creation. Big Break is now expanding with the addition of a livestream concert series and unique NFTs<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. This comes as a collaboration with Web3 startup company owned, Bondly.<\/p>\n

Unique Livestreams<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bandsintown is providing a unique form of live-streaming to their platform. Livestreams<\/strong><\/span><\/a> will appear only once a month and for only one specific date and time. With these unique livestreams, artists can discover new music and get something even more. For attending the livestream, fans will receive a free and exclusive Big Break NFT. Each NFT is associated with each artist performing on the livestream. After the livestream, artists can nourish the relationship with NFT holders and fans. By using the Bandsintown for Artists Direct to Fans free messaging platform, artists and fans are closer than ever. The NFTs are available only during the live-stream, so there is an added sense of urgency and exclusivity.<\/p>\n

Big Break Livestream Prizes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As an incentive, Bandsintown is also adding special prizes for attending. Throughout the year 2022, there will be a pairing of 10 emerging music artists and 10 emerging visual artists. If you collect all 10 NFTs, a.k.a. attend all the livestreams, you’ll unlock a bonus NFT. The “Big Break” poster is an NFT of a piece of art showcasing the entire series will all the artists. In addition to the extra NFT, you’ll also get a physical print of the poster. This is a collectable virtual tour laminate that commemorates the show. It’s something worth desiring.<\/p>\n
